We would like to congratulate Stefano Lupieri on his survey of the potential held by roofs in the making of a resilient cities adapted to tomorrow's climates. By recounting the trajectories of architects, entrepreneurs, landscapers and activists, he highlights the emergence of rooftops as a space for architectural and social intervention in their own right. With roofs accounting for more than a third of the surface area of a city like Paris, it was about time!
