Roofscapes is thrilled to be part of Multiroofs, a European project co-funded by Interreg North-West Europe (NWE) and led by the City of Rotterdam. Rotterdam has been trailblazing multifunctional rooftop uses for over a decade and this project will now be expanding the untapped potential of roofs at the European level. With Multiroof, a project worth €6.3 million, 14 European partners will work together in the next 4.5 years to:

• develop digital tools based on digital twins for public authorities to determine the potential of flat and pitched roofs.
• identify building owners who are open to multifunctional uses of their rooftop space.
• organize financial incentives for building owners to support the implementation of multifunctional rooftops.
